Level 20 done (rep 2)

I finished the problems of level 20 this morning. The percentage correct was only a little better than the first rep -- I don't know what this means. I did do this level in significantly fewer days, but this is mostly a function of having the time to do the problems and not working on anything else chess related.

CT-Art stats:
/============================\
| Level | Rep 1 | Rep 2 |
|----------------------------|
| 10 | 97% | 99% |
|----------------------------|
| 20 | 92% | 94% |
\============================/
CT-Art elo: 2122

Thanks to Blue Devil for pointing me to who has done a massive CT-Art set all in one day (in the comments of previous post). Even through the end of level 60 in a single day is quite impressive. Adding the last 3 levels would probably extend the time by 2-3 hours.

In the past I used to wonder if I can make it to expert or master level. These are somewhat abstract questions when we don't exactly what it means to play at that level. But something like doing a set of tactical problems is more concrete and hopefully attainable goal.

Good to see that you're still in the heat of battle. I'm trying to revive my old web site and I'm planning on entering a tournament soon. This also entails entering the Seven Circles of Hell again...sigh! ;)
Good to see you around. Keep up the god work!

good to see you back triumphant.

after i get my final set done of the next 400 or so at CTS at 97% or so,

and get ahead of the curve on 1001 sacrifices and combinations (at 45 per week, i am 40 behind my quoto to do all 3001 by 31 dec, 2008 (1001, 1000 in Reinfelds second book, then 1000 in Emms book, Ultimate Chess Puzzle Book),

and continuing my renewed study of GM games (ive elaborated my previous 941 game database to now include other games, making it 1,663 games with few missed...) at 25 per week,

i will then pick up CT-Art in early September, when my summer vacation starts, and perhaps some mountaineering...

i did send BDK a copy of the database, so if you want it, pls write him for my email, if you wish.

pls say it is not Viagra in subject line, they [whoever they may be] found me in the last month, and now it wont stop. :)

take care, dk
